New Guarantee Year starts Saturday Oct 3. From then through the Christmas period: an X day earned for a relief day worked must be scheduled in the same pay period; previously earned X days may not be scheduled in that window; if the X day is not given in that pay period, pay is 100% of the daily rate.
Fall RRECS evals from the closed Mini Mail Survey (Aug 22 through Friday Sep 4) take effect Saturday Oct 3.
The new Rural Relief Day Work List (RDWL) takes effect Saturday Oct 3 (signup closed Friday Sep 25).
EMA decreases 3.0¢ to $1.04 per mile effective Saturday Oct 3 (PP22).
Updated Rural Route Evaluation Dispute Process (RREDP) MOU and forms posted Sep 28. For potential evaluation errors, the carrier and local management discuss and work together on the documentation. Each disputed item gets its own dispute form with documentation. The Postmaster sends the dispute and documentation to the district Manager of Labor Relations and the NRLCA District Representative. Only clear, legible copies; hard copy requested; pictures unacceptable.
